How do I turn on two-factor sign-in?
In Account & security, set it up with an authenticator app like Google Authenticator. After that, signing in needs your password and a 6-digit code.
- 1Click your name at the bottom of the menu → Account & security.
- 2Under Two-factor authentication, click Set up.
- 3Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
- 4Type the 6-digit code it shows and click Turn on.
- 5Save the recovery codes somewhere safe, then click I’ve saved them.

Lost your phone? A recovery code works in place of the 6-digit code. To switch it off: Turn off two-factor, then enter a code.
With Remember me for 30 days ticked at sign-in, that browser won’t ask for the code again for 30 days. Untick it on a shared computer. Changing your password makes every remembered browser ask again.
The desktop app asks for the code too when you sign in. If it says to update, download the latest from timerfly.com/download and sign in again. Computers already signed in keep working.
