What is the difference between productivity and effectiveness?
Effectiveness = productive time ÷ the hours you’re expected to work. Productivity = productive time ÷ your time at the computer.
Effectiveness builds up through the day: 6 productive hours on an 8-hour day is 75%. A day with no expected hours shows —. Breaks aren’t expected work.
Productivity is how much of your computer time was in apps that count as work. Neutral apps don’t count toward it.
