- What does Timerfly record?Which app and website is in use and for how long, window titles, and whether the computer is idle — only during the work day. Screenshots only if your company turns them on.
- Are window titles recorded?Yes — the title of the window in use, like a document or page name. Owners and admins see them when they open an app’s page in Reports.
- Are screenshots taken?Only if your company turns them on. Then the app takes one every few minutes while you’re active, and you can always see your own on My Day.3 steps· with a picture
- Where do I see screenshots? Can I delete one?On a person’s day (My Day, or click them on Team), under Screenshots. Click one to see it large, then Delete if you’re allowed to.3 steps
- Can screenshots be blurred?Yes — for everyone, for one department, or for one person. Blurred screenshots show the screen’s shape but not what’s on it.2 steps· For owners and admins
- Can one department or one person have different screenshot or idle settings?Yes, on Business: Settings → Departments & people. Each department or person follows the company until you set something different.4 steps· with a picture· For owners and admins
- Can Timerfly show who works from the office and who works remotely?Yes, on Business. Add your office’s internet address, and work sent from it counts as office; anything else as remote. Nobody has to check in and no location is tracked.3 steps· with a picture· For owners and admins
- Can we allow sign-in only from the office?Yes, on Business: list your office’s addresses and admins and employees can only sign in from them. The owner is never blocked.2 steps· with a picture· For owners and admins
- How long is our data kept?Activity, attendance and reports are kept as long as you use Timerfly. Screenshots are deleted after 45 days on Starter, 90 on Pro and 180 on Business.
- Do I need to tell my employees?Yes — tell them clearly, before you start, what is recorded and why. It builds trust and is what the law expects in most countries.· For owners and admins
