Timerfly + Slack
Timerfly posts alerts to the Slack channel you choose, as they happen: who started late, who’s been idle too long, whose break ran over. Each message links straight to that person’s day in Timerfly, so a manager can check in one tap instead of chasing anyone.
On the Pro and Business plans, and in the 14-day free trial.
What you get
- Alerts for a late start, idle too long, too much unproductive time, a long break, too much break time, overtime, someone starting or stopping work, the app not reporting for days, or one person signed in on two computers — you choose which ones go to chat, and the threshold for each.
- Several alerts at once arrive as one message, not a flood.
- Chat only carries the last hour: connecting a channel later doesn’t replay old alerts.
Set it up
- 1In Slack, open Apps, find “Incoming Webhooks” and add it to the channel that should get the alerts. Copy the webhook URL (it starts with https://hooks.slack.com/).
- 2In Timerfly, go to Settings → Alerts & emails → Where alerts go → Slack → Connect, paste the URL and Save.
- 3Press “Send test alert”. The test message should appear in the channel within a few seconds.
- 4In the Alerts list above, switch on the alerts you want and tick “Chat” for the ones that should go to Slack.

Does every employee see the alerts?
Only the people in the Slack channel you pick. Most companies use a private channel for managers.
Can Slack and email both get alerts?
Yes. Each alert can go to email, chat, or both. Email is batched every 10 minutes; chat is sent within a minute.
Which plan is it on?
Alerts, including Slack, are on the Pro and Business plans, and in the 14-day trial.
