What paying in dollars adds
Paying Time Doctor in dollars from India brings a few things a rupee price doesn’t.
GST you file yourself
GST is 18% either way. On software bought from abroad, a GST-registered company pays it itself under reverse charge and files it. With Timerfly it's simply on our GST invoice.
The bank’s currency markup
A dollar charge on an Indian card usually carries a foreign-currency markup from your bank, and the rupee amount changes with the exchange rate every month.
Recurring card limits
Under RBI’s e-mandate rules, a recurring card charge above ₹15,000 needs your approval each time, so a yearly plan for a team is often paid by hand. Timerfly takes UPI Autopay, RuPay, cards and netbanking.
Where Time Doctor is ahead
Price isn’t everything. If you need one of these, Time Doctor may be worth the difference.
- Video screen recording. Premium can record video of the screen. Timerfly takes still screenshots only.
- More platforms and integrations. Linux, ChromeOS and mobile apps, and 60+ integrations. Timerfly tracks from Windows and Mac, with an API, webhooks and Zapier / Make / n8n.
- Track record. Time Doctor has been around for years, with thousands of reviews. Timerfly is new.
